Ultrapower 2010 Fetion Revenue Growth Slowed Down

BEIJING, Mar 17, 2011 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Beijing Ultrapower Software Co., Ltd. (SZSE: 300002), one of the first 28 companies listing on ChiNext, a start-up board of Shenzhen Stock Exchange, issued its annual report for 2010, showing that operating revenue hit CNY 842 million, growing 16.42% over a year earlier.

Net profits attributable to shareholders hit CNY 328 million, growing 21.28% over a year earlier; net profits deducting non-recurring gains and losses hit CNY 324 million; earnings per share were CNY 1.04.

Revenue from the Fetion business hit CNY 491 million last year, growing 11.38% over the previous year, much lower than the year-on-year growth of 58.74% in the interim report in 2009; the proportion in total operating revenue also fell to about 58%.

Total operating revenue from the rural communication business hit CNY 33.2982 million last year, leaping 74% over CNY 19.18 million in the previous year. However, Sinolink Securities Co., Ltd. (SHSE: 600109) researcher Chen Yunhong showed the progress of the rural communication business jointly boosted by the company and China Mobile, the largest mobile telecom operator in the nation, was slower than expectation.
