Fed:Central bank signals it may not get any worse for homebuyers

In welcome news for homebuyers .. the central bank has indicated that last year's three
interest rate rises have been enough to dampen inflation.

The Reserve Bank's revised down its forecasts for inflation in its quarterly Statement
on Monetary Policy released today.

But it says it remains on alert for a re-emergence of price pressures with unemployment
at its lowest level in over 30 years.

The central bank left interest rates unchanged last week.
